Sessions & Programmes

In the current climate all sessions are online.   Sometime in the future I very much hope to be able to, once again, offer the safe and confidential setting of my own home as an option too. 

We would have an initial complimentary conversation on the phone.  It’s important to establish if we can work together and whether I think I would be able to help you and whether you think I am the right fit for you also.

Following on from that I would suggest a treatment plan which would most likely be somewhere between three and six sessions.

I use a blend of tools and techniques depending on what works best for my client.  I make myself available between sessions to catch you if you need me.

Mindfulness Techniques

I explain Mindfulness as a way of being. I have worked clients who just want to let go of stress and live in the present moment.   

Mindfulness show you how to understand yourself better and become much more present.  Through your learning of mindfulness techniques, your self awareness will improve significantly as will your compassion for yourself and others. Additionally you will develop helpful responses to unhelpful or distracting thoughts.

The long term benefits include decision-making, reduced stress, greater resilience, improved communication, increased motivation. Clinical research supports these benefits. There is some guided meditation and there are also some tasks to do between sessions.

When mindfulness techniques are practised regularly they can absolutely give you that freedom.   There is a continually growing volume of research that clearly shows the emotional and physical benefits of regular mindfulness practice.
